Six years ago, Jerome's mother lost her battle to cancer, and a ten-year old boy's life was changed forever.  Since her passing, Jerome has dedicated himself to sharing his story with youth just like him who have experienced a loss of someone they love.  Despite this negative moment in his childhood, he hopes to spread a message of positivity and guidance to his readers.  In his community, Jerome continues to serve as a Public Advocacy Volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and a youth volunteer with The Bereaved Families of Ontario.
